Kaizer Chiefs’ forgotten man Tashreeq Morris delivered three points for the Glamour Boys in his first game in one year as they secured CAF Confederation Cup football for next season.
In a game when Chiefs needed all three points to confirm third place, it was Morris, making his first start of the season, who came up with the first goal before Mfundo Vilakazi made it 2-0 both goals scored very late as the Soweto giants secured three points.

With the game looking like it was headed for a frustrating draw, Chiefs pulled a rabbit out of the hat in the dying minutes of the contest.
In the 85th minute, Glody Lilepo made a late run on the right wing and squared the ball in the box and Morris, who had come on moments ago, reacted quicky to poke it home for 1-0.

Late heroics secure CAF slot
It was wild celebrations for a man who had not played since the final match of last season and when fans thought that was enough, Chiefs still had more.
In the 89th minute, Mfundo Vilakazi showed class on the left wing, beating his marker brilliantly before squaring to Lilepo. The Congolese was, however, fouled from behind and the referee pointed to the spot.

Vilakazi stepped up and scored but the referee ordered a retake and even on the second time, he still scored to secure the win.
Victory takes Chiefs’ tally to an unassailable 51 points and with two games to go, no other team can catch them in third place, a good season for the Glamour Boys, who have not finished in the top eight in the last two seasons.
