Kaizer Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr. has revealed why the club decided to loan the club’s academy graduates Sabelo Radebe and Donay Jansen.

The club confirmed during the PSL transfer deadline day that Radebe would spent this season at Richards Bay FC in KwaZulu-Natal while Jansen signed a season-long loan with the Tshwane-based outfit SuperSport United.

Both players came through the club’s youth ranks. Radebe, who was the captain of the DStv Diski Challenge, was promoted to the first team back 2021.

It’s Gavin Hunt who handed him the promotion to the first team having impressed immensely in the reserve league.

Meanwhile, Jansen signed his first professional team contract during the course of last season. He got an improved contract recently which will keep him at the club until 2027.
