Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile recently joined Tanzanian heavyweights Young Africans SC, commonly referred to as Yanga SC.
Rumours were rife that the legendary 31-year-old Namibia international would join either the Premier Soccer League defending champions Orlando Pirates or traditional rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
The Tanzanian champions officially announced the signing of Namibian international on Monday night, concluding a highly anticipated transfer saga.

Dunusa tried to sabotage him, but…

Good signing by Yanga SC. I think he will make a mark there, considering that he will be coached by Manqoba Mngqithi, his former coach – Dorcus Manku
I am so happy for Shasha, but in my opinion, Orlando Pirates would have been the better option for his type of play – Gqilaza Ngeyane
I’m so happy for him; even when Dunusa tried to sabotage him moving to any PSL teams, Manqoba came through – Lulo UThando BlaqRose
Peter Shalulile and Tshegofatso Mabasa are better than Khanyisa Mayo, Flavio Da Silva, Vilakazi, and Pule Mmodi. I don’t know why Chiefs didn’t get one of them – Alfred Mahappies
I wonder which players Kaizer Chiefs will sign. They might even lose to Kruger United this weekend. – Zama Sithole
Why not Saudi Arabia?

Guys, a lot of noise here in Tanzania, as if they have signed Relebohile Mofokeng – Ally Mwakujonga
So out of all the free agents Chiefs will sign this season, they thought this one was not worth it? – Siphelele Ntsasana
Why not Saudi Arabia? He should have gone to Saudi Arabia to make generational wealth – Simphiwe Matiwane
My heart is bleeding for this man; as a Sundowns fan, you can’t keep Mothiba and let Shalulile go. PSL will never produce a lethal striker like Shasha. I’m going to miss you, man – Katalia Castro Cheetah
Manqoba must be so desperate because one of the reasons I never liked him while at Sundowns was for benching Shalulile – Bhekani Mcijo Gumbi
