Coach Nasreddine Nabi helped Kaizer Chiefs end their trophy drought last weekend with a 2-1 win against Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup's Soweto derby staged at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The victory was a sigh of relief to the Tunisian and the Glamour Boys faithful, who are enduring a tough Premier Soccer League campaign. Amakhosi have lost 12 games in the Premier Soccer League out of the 26 played in the ongoing campaign. The Soweto giants have won eight games and drawn six.

They are remaining with two league games; on Saturday, they will be playing against Caf Confederation Cup-chasing Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane City before playing Polokwane in their final game at the FNB Stadium.
Nabi wants no struggles
Despite having a year remaining on his current deal, with an option to extend, the Tunisian has hinted he might consider leaving if he doesn't get the resources he needs to deliver. The tactician has been arguing that the team lacks quality in terms of players.
“I wouldn’t be honest if I said that I’m gonna stay if the club doesn’t allow me to get all the tools to succeed next season because they have promised, and myself, I have promised the fans that I want to build a successful team that will compete in every competition to win trophies,” he said on Extra Time.
“That’s the condition for me to stay [at Chiefs] because I don’t feel that I want to go through what I went through this season,” Nabi concluded.
It will be vital for Amakhosi to get good players who will help the team deliver in the Caf Confederation Cup and challenge for top honours in South Africa especially in the Premier Soccer League.
