Magesi FC fairytale continued on Saturday evening at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein when they came from a goal down to beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 and win the Carling Knockout trophy.
It was the first time in the Premier Soccer League era a newly promoted team won the League Cup in their debut season.
