Magesi FC fairytale continued on Saturday evening at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein when they came from a goal down to beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 and win the Carling Knockout trophy.

It was the first time in the Premier Soccer League era a newly promoted team won the League Cup in their debut season.

The result was a massive blow to coach Manqoba Mngqithi and his arsenal after an initial unceremonious exit from the MTN8 early in the season. Have a look at what the fans in Mzansi said after the game.
