Orlando Pirates might lose their star attacker, Relebohile Mofokeng, who has been a hit since being promoted to the senior team at the tail end of the 2022/23 season by then-coach Jose Riveiro.

In the 125 games he has played for the Sea Robbers across all competitions, with a return of 29 goals and 31 assists which is massive considering his tender age. Last season, the Sea Robbers won the Premier Soccer League for the first time in 14 years, the MTN8 and Carling Knockout.

Mofokeng was at the centre stage as he managed to find the back of the net 10 times with eight assists in the Premier Soccer League. In all competitions, he had 11 goals and nine assists.

Reports have it that the versatile attacker, who is currently at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Bafana Bafana, will leave for another challenge.
