Orbit College FC has offered clarity on the confusion surrounding their home venue for their Betway Premiership final encounter against title-chasing Orlando Pirates later this month.
“Orbit College FC wishes to inform its supporters, stakeholders, members of the media, and the football community that the Betway Premiership fixture against Orlando Pirates scheduled for Saturday, 23 May 2026 at 15h00 will no longer be played at Royal Bafokeng Stadium,” Mswenko Boys said in a statement.
“This follows confirmation from the stadium management that the facility will remain unavailable until 30 June 2026. The club is currently in the process of securing an alternative compliant venue capable of hosting a fixture of this magnitude. A final confirmation regarding the venue will be communicated by Friday, 15 May 2026.

In a light-hearted “Vodacom Tshamaya” promotional feature produced in collaboration with former Orlando Pirates midfielder-turned-content creator Michael Morton, Jele reflected on some of the defining moments and personalities that shaped his legendary spell at the Soweto giants.
The 39-year-old club ex-Bucs skipper, who played a key role in Pirates’ famous back-to-back trebles in 2011 and 2012, made more than 390 appearances for the Sea Robbers and remains one of the most respected figures in the club’s modern era.
During the quick-fire Q&A session, Jele name-dropped several former Buccaneers stars, including goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo, fullback Thabo Matlaba, winger Luvuyo Memela and striker Thamsanqa Gabuza, as he revisited some of the squad’s most memorable travel moments.
