Orlando Pirates played Orbit College in the Premier Soccer League outing staged at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday night.
A sensational strike from Lebone Seema sealed maximum points for the Buccaneers for the Soweto giants. It was their second straight win in the South African top-tier after back-to-back losses in the opening two matches.
However, one player who was missing is Bafana Bafana attacker Relebohile Mofokeng, who has been making all the matchday squads. As a matter of fact, prior to the match against the PSL's newbies, the 20-year-old had played in the initial six games across all competitions.
Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has since explained the absence of the South Africa international.
Why did Mofokeng miss the game against Orbit?
“About Rele, unfortunately, I have to discuss with my medical department, they communicated with me that he cannot be part of the game. But we still don’t have full feedback on the exam that he should take. I hope it’s nothing serious because we need him,” he told the media.

Since taking over from Jose Riveiro, who has since joined Al Ahly, Ouaddou has been in charge of seven competitive games at the club, with a return of three wins, two losses, and as many draws in regulation time.
The Soweto giants kept alive their chances of winning the MTN8 for the fourth time in a row, thanks to their shootout win over the defending Premier Soccer League champions Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.
They will now play Stellenbosch in the final; Stellied eliminated Sekhukhune United from the annual competition.
