Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is delighted that his side made light work of Chippa United but he is not happy with the overall performance.
Pirates put Chippa United to the sword, winning 3-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday thanks to goals from Patrick Maswanganyi, Deon Hotto and Tshepang Moremi.
The Buccaneers dominated the contest and should have won by more and that is one thing that did not excite their coach.
Ouaddou admits it was important to win and stay close to title rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns but is not impressed that they took their foot off the pedal when they had a chance to go for more.

“It was crucial to take three points today. When you look at the result yesterday [Saturday], it was very important,” Ouaddou told SuperSport TV after the match.
“I said before the game it is not three but six points and I am happy about the result but we have to understand that we have to give fun to our fans.
“I am not somebody who likes to enjoy like that, if we can put five or six goals, we have to do it, so congratulations to my boys but in the last 20 minutes, I do not want to make a sterile possession, I want to move forward.

“It was very important to win before the [international] break but also stay close to our rivals and stick to the top of the league table. It was important to be on nine points before the break.
“I like the way that we played. The aim is to go forward and find our frontline and the pocket.”
Ouddou watched his team win a third straight league match which has moved them to nine points from five matches, four behind Chiefs and Sekhukhune United, who are joint top, and two behind champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
