Phillip Ndlondlo's return to Marumo Gallants marked the end of his three-year stay with the Orlando Pirates.

The 30-year-old midfielder has shared his thoughts on his time with the Buccaneers, expressing a sense of pride and accomplishment despite a difficult final season.

Ndlondlo’s tenure at the Pirates was filled with success, including five trophy wins. However, his final season saw him get less playing time.

He wasn't too concerned about it, though, understanding that it was part of the natural evolution of a football club. He embraced the experience, viewing it as a period of personal growth.

NDLONDLO OPENS UP ON PIRATES STINT

“I feel that it was a great stint for me at Pirates. I served my time well,” Ndlondlo told iDiski Times.

“With the opportunity that I got, I grabbed it with both hands.”

He believes that his ability to stay with the club for three years without being loaned out is a testament to his dedication.

Ndlondlo says that he accepted the changes in the team, which included new players getting more opportunities on the field. He points out that maintaining a good attitude is crucial, especially during tough times.

“You mustn't think everything is going to be good at all times; you must bear in mind that there are times where things won't go well,” he said.

Ndlondlo says he's grateful for the opportunities he had at the Pirates, including reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League and playing in five cup finals. Now, he brings that experience with him as he begins his second stint with Marumo Gallants.
