Orlando Pirates confirmed the exit of Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane following the expiry of their contracts.
Mako has been serving the Sea Robbers since 2019 after joining from Chippa United, while Monyane graduated from the club's academy. The duo joins Innocent Maela and Miguel Timm, who were released a couple of days ago.

When are you sacking Saleng?

You let Mako and Monyane leave, then you decide to keep Bandile Shandu? Okay, I bid farewell to Orlando Pirates Football Club with immediate effect. I wouldn't be surprised to see Monnapule Saleng, Olisa Ndah, Deon Hotto, and Ndlondlo all following – Mtshweni Chikoya Sheriff
When are you sacking Saleng? If he won't play, then you might as well let him go – Nonhle Shezi
What is the chairman smoking over there? Monyane and Mako out, who is next? – Plumtree Empandeni Swibha
Trust me, Orlando Pirates have a coach, and he is the one who’s doing the squad overhaul – Melusi Mnguni
Imagine pirates don't have a left back, but Mako is leaving. The new coach might come and ask for him – Sbonelo Nello Sokhulu
We will be Orlando Stellies FC

If we're being honest, we only needed a cover for Makhaula, two more wingers, a good No.10, and two more strikers. But watch my team running around signing a whole lot of defenders as soon as the window opens, while we're short of offensive players – Thammie Mhaule
We like these players, but the reality is they were struggling to get game time. As for Thabiso Monyane, it was going to be an impossible mission for him to play with Msheke Ndaba and the right-back from Baroka signed already. There are still more players to leave, especially the midfielders. We are still going to cry and curse – Sbonelo Gqohomu Cebekhulu
We'll be Orlando Stellies FC next season, with Sihle Nduli coming, I see Fawaaz Basadien too wearing Black Bones – Luther Single
Irvin Khoza is letting the talent go and is bringing people who will start afresh to get used to the tactics that were left by Jose Riveiro, no man – Lucky Terrence Phiri
