Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to submit another bid for one of their main transfer targets.
Chiefs have already confirmed the signing of six players but are in the market for more reinforcements, especially in attack.
One of the players they have been heavily linked with is Tanzanian playmaker Feisal Salum, who plays for Azam FC in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Can Kaizer Chiefs firm up the deal?
Chiefs have been trying to woo the attacking midfielder to Naturena since last year but are yet to be successful. However, according to Rwandan journalist Eric Ndagijimana, they are set to come back with an improved bid.
“Kaizer Chiefs are expected to send [a] third offer in (sic) AZAM FC. Feisal Salum is open to join Kaizer Chiefs,” he posted on X.
It remains to be seen if the reported bid will arrive as Salum is one of the most wanted players in Africa with Tanzanian giants Simba SC and his former club Yanga also keen on signing him.
Salum and Nabi worked together before

Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi knows Salum very well after working with him during his two-year stint at Yanga between 2021 and 2023.
Salum, popularly known as Fei Toto, scored 21 goals for Azam in the 2023-24 season and had four goals and over 10 assists last term.
Mamelodi Sundowns had also been credited with an interest but have since looked elsewhere with Chiefs left to battle it out with the Tanzanian sides while Azam have not lost hope of extending his stay at the club.
