Orlando Pirates are in the market for new players to bolster their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign.
Reports have it that Bucs have already completed the signing of Marumo Gallants midfielder Masindi Nemtajela. The Sea Robbers beat Kaizer Chiefs to the services of the versatile midfielder who had a goal and an assist in the 16 Premier Soccer League matches played in the 2024/25 season.

Another player who has reportedly joined the Buccaneers is Baroka FC's defender Tshepo Mashiloane, who had a good campaign in the second tier. He played 29 games for Bakgaga across all competitions.
The 23-year-old helped his team finish in the top eight after managing 41 points from 30 outings. The right-back, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, has since opened up on his move to the Soweto giants.
I will have to top up my game
He insists it would have been good for him to help Baroka gain promotion to the Premier Soccer League before his exit, but now that things didn't work out, Mashiloane hopes Bakgaga will realise their dream of making a return to the PSL.
“I would have loved to go to Orlando Pirates, knowing that I have promoted my team. But I believe the guys will do well next season and promote the team. The chairman [Khurishi Mphahlele] has supported me and my move to Pirates and is happy,” he opened up to the media.

“I will have to up my game when I get there [to Pirates] so I can stay competitive. I would love to get a chance to play in the cup competitions like the Carling Knockout Cup, MTN8, and Nedbank Cup. But I understand I need to work hard to earn it. I want to achieve a lot of things at Pirates,” Mashiloane concluded.
More signings are expected at Bucs who have domestic and international assignments in the new season.
