Mamelodi Sundowns star Khuliso Mudau has been heavily linked with a move to Orlando Pirates in the January transfer window.

Monnapule Saleng’s move to Masandawana fueled speculations that the 30-year-old might be part of the deal involving the two clubs. The 30-year-old has refused to extend his contract with the defending Premier Soccer League champions, which will see him leave as a free agent at the end of thd season.

However, ‘Sailer’ as he is commonly referred to by his fans, has refuted claims that he will be joining the Buccaneers in the January transfer window. As a matter of fact, he has insisted he is fully focused at Masandawana.

“I found out about that, I think one of my friends sent something like that where they said I’m going to Orlando Pirates, which I don’t even know anything [about], I’m focused on Mamelodi Sundowns,” Mudau told the club’s media team.

Since joining Sundowns, Mudau has managed to win five PSL crowns, MTN8, Nedbank Cup, and the African Football League after making more than 170 appearances for the club across all competitions.
