Mamelodi Sundowns failed to capitalise on the home ground as they drew 0-0 with Maniema Union in Group B of the Caf Champions League.

The defending Premier Soccer League champions had come into the fixture at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium hoping to bounce back from a shocking Carling Knockout final loss against Magesi FC.

Pressure is now slowly turning out against coach Manqoba Mngqithi who is not getting it right as anticipated. Have a look at what the fans said.

Mngqithi coaching with baptism cert?

Why Mngqithi was 'unhappy' despite trashing Chiefs 4-0

Sundowns are slowly but surely losing their foot trust me. Mngqithi must stop talking too much and act more. Tough luck anyway as we wished for them to win this one –  Nkosi Slater

This is what happens when you pose for a camera while other teams are training. It's clear that Manqoba Mngqithi is coaching with a baptism certificate –  Baki Cody Molefe

It's now clear that Pitso Mosimane built Sundowns, Rulani Mokwena maintained the standard, and Manqoba Mngqithi is about to throw everything under the drain with the attitude – Ntate Matlhaku Wa-Motswana

Coach Manqoba Mnqithi is a very good coach, and a dangerous tactician. He just needs someone to advise him to leave Mamelodi Sundowns and his friend Steve Komphela, they can form a dangerous duo in Golden Arrows where they belong – Karabo Davids

My biggest fear is to face Real Madrid in the Club World Cup. I thought we have a team but now it seems the team we have has no leader… Manqoba tactics are very poor – Jonas George Khutso Relela

What is Mamelodi Sundowns without the injured Themba Zwane? – Abbey Matlhapa

They seemingly have not learned anything from the Magesi disaster, if Tuesday's performance is anything to go by, then the drought has been warmly welcomed at Chloorkop prison – Mapheto Makakese Enos

Sundowns players are very tired. They need to rest and come back stronger, from representing Bafana Bafana and playing the Carling Cup final plus a very important Champions League game. It's too much for these players – Le Fa

Still traumatized by Magesi comeback, they are now scared of scoring goals first, shame – Es Solo El Comienzo

I blame Mamelodi Sundowns supporters because they don’t come to the stadium to support their team – Sphamandla Nkosinathi
