The PSL has confirmed the 32 teams that will feature in this season’s Nedbank Cup with the draw date also set.
Kaizer Chiefs are looking to defend their title although Orlando Pirates, who have won the MTN8 and Carling Knockout, pose a big threat, while Mamelodi Sundowns will also be hoping to claim the trophy.
The ‘Big Three’ are joined by the other 13 PSL clubs while there will be eight Motsepe Championship clubs as well as a similar number from the third tier ABC Motsepe League.
The draw for the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 will be conducted on Thursday, January 15 live on SuperSport TV (PSL channel 202) with the following procedure followed.
2026 Nedbank Cup Round of 32 Draw Procedure
– All club names will be placed in a single pot.
– There will be no seeding.
– In each sequence, the first ball drawn will designate the home club, and the second ball will designate their opponent as the away club.
– This process will continue until all fixtures have been finalised.
