The youngster has been developing rapidly after his exit from the Glamour Boys.

Former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Puso Dithejane has been hailed by TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic for his displays, terming him as the ‘best at his age.'

The 20-year-old was controversially released by Glamour Boys after refusing to be a ball boy for the senior team. The Rockets took him in, and since then he has been involved regularly in top matches for the club.

In the 2023/24 season, he played 17 games for Galaxy across all competitions and managed to get a goal and an assist.

‘Unbelievable, the best at his age!'

In the recently concluded pre-season Mpumalanga International Premier's Cup, the youngster scored the winner as Galaxy beat the Bundesliga outfit 2-1 to be crowned.

“Puso for me I have to be careful not to hype so fast, a young guy, but I have known him since October when he came to us, unbelievable, top player, unbelievable skills, also a great lifestyle,” Ramovic told reporters.

“He’s in the right direction, he just turned 20, and for me, he’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen at his age, we are happy to have him on our team and if he continues the way he’s playing now, I will not be surprised if we lose him.”

Chiefs credited

The Serbian capitalised on the chance to laud Amakhosi academy for developing good players saying he wonders why he was let go.

“I have to give huge credit to  Chiefs, they built him there and he became the player he is now, so I won’t talk about why they released him, it’s not my [place] I don’t know what happened there,” Ramovic continued.

“But I can only give credit to the academy [coaches] at Chiefs, how they improved and developed him.”
