The Rockets coach has been heavily linked to the North African heavyweights but the deal is now off.
TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovc has confirmed he is not joining Raja Casablanca as initially anticipated.
The Botola Pro League champions are currently without a coach after the exit of former Orlando Pirates tactician Josef Zinnbauer who helped them finish the season without tasting defeat. They also won the Throne Cup after defeating the now Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi who was at the time leading AS FAR Rabat.
The Moroccan outfit were impressed with the Serbian, and things were so close to the point that the Rockets owner Tim Sukazi insisted Ramovic would not be with the Premier Soccer League club for the new season.
‘We didn't come to an agreement' – Mokwena relief?
The 45-year-old has now claimed the North Africans didn't meet his demands which contributed to the collapse of the deal.
“Nothing [is happening]. Until now, nothing has happened. We didn’t agree. We didn’t come to an agreement,” Ramovic told Far Post after his team fell by a solitary goal against Yanga in the Mpumalanga International Premier's Cup on Wednesday.
“I can only say I have principles, I have values, I respect myself. Until things are on the table that I believe is the thing to show me that this is not respectful, I will not move at all.”
The recent development means Ramovic will not be reunited with Rulani Mokwena who is in charge of Wydad Athletic Club.
The two coaches were not the best of friends in the Premier Soccer League, with their regular public confrontations almost leading to a physical contest.
