Rulani Mokwena has revealed he could have taken coaching roles at AS FAR Rabat or Raja Club Athletic at the start of the season.
Wydad's draw with FUS Rabat extends winless streak to three, jeopardizing Champions League spot. Zemraoui and Sakhi's late goals nullified by 90th-minute equalizer.
Fans' anger at the draw saw objects hurled onto pitch, visibly upsetting Mokwena.
In the press conference, the 38-year-old implored fans to support the team as they continue to fight for Champions League qualification next season.

‘I HAD OPTION TO JOIN CLUBS PLAYING IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE’
“We have 26 new players, fighting for a Champions League spot and we have started a disadvantaged position,” said Mokwena.
“Ten matchdays ago, do you know how many points gap we had to close? And we’ve done that. Why can’t these players get more support?
“I look at my players coming from halftime, they’re distraught. And me as a coach, I look at them and say why can’t they get the support guys.
“I understand we haven’t won anything in two years. I understand there’s hunger for Champions League and believe me there’s no one hungrier than me to play Champions League.
“I was in the semifinals of Champions League two years in a row. I had to option to join clubs that are playing Champions League because when I played with Sundowns against Wydad, I saw how much they love their club, I saw how much they showed love to me
“That’s why I didn’t go to FAR Rabat, I didn’t go to Raja (Casablanca) and I chose Wydad. But what I see now, the lack of support.”
