Goalkeeper Ricardo Goss, who is on loan at Siwelele FC from Mamelodi Sundowns, appears not ready to return to Chloorkop after four years away.
The goalkeeper was signed by Sundowns in 2020 but struggled for gametime before securing a loan deal at the defunct SuperSport United, playing there for three seasons, and after the club was sold and renamed Siwelele FC, he was retained for a fourth year in a row.
“I think I’d like to come back to Siwelele, they’ve really treated me well here, not to say they didn’t treat me well at Sundowns,” Goss said as per FARPost.
“But I feel like every footballer wants to be on the pitch and you want to be the number one of the team and keep playing week in week out, and set yourself goals for the season. So we’ll see how that [Sundowns future] goes, I can’t comment further on that.”
Cupido’s form counts for nothing as he misses World Cup

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Keanu Cupido has been in great form for the club but that has not been enough to convince Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos to include him in the World Cup squad.
Cupido was among those who missed out when Broos released his preliminary squad on Thursday despite making himself available throughout the season, playing 31 games in all competitions and even took injections to pay the CAF Champions League final first leg last weekend.
However, Broos looked elsewhere when selecting his defenders for the World Cup, opting for Cupido’s teammate Khulumani Ndamane, Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Ime Okon, Olwethu Makhanya and Nkosintahi Sibisi.

Mamelodi Sundowns captain Themba Zwane has urged his teammates to shrug off their travel hiccups and use it as motivation to secure their CAF Champions League crown.
Sundowns were set to travel to Morocco on Tuesday for their CAF Champions League return leg against AS FAR but did not get clearance in time and were forced to reschedule their flight to the following day.
Zwane is looking at the positives and believes the camaraderie in camp will play a massive role.
“The travel was long, but the mood in the camp is very good,” Zwane said. “Everyone is excited and we are pushing one another. We had some fun on the flight as well, and we are trying to keep the atmosphere as positive as possible.”
