Orlando Pirates attacker Kamogelo Sebelebele is among the new players who have started the 2025/26 season on a high note.
The 23-year-old former TS Galaxy winger has three goals already for the Sea Robbers across all competitions. His display caught the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos who has now included him in the team that will play the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria, respectively.

South Africa are on top of Group C with 13 points, with the closest teams, Rwanda and Benin, having eight from the six games played. The Super Eagles of Nigeria have seven points, one more than fifth-placed Crocodiles.
Sebelebele is delighted after getting the chance to deliver for the country. He feels the call-up to the senior team could have come earlier, but it is only that he was playing for a ‘small team'.
Sebelebele ready to show what he is made of
“Joining Orlando Pirates changed a lot in my career because the support I get boosts my confidence,” he told the media in his latest interview.
“I’m ready to show people what I’m made of, and when playing for small teams, people don’t recognize you, but now that I’m playing for a big club, they will recognize me.

“I’m happy and excited to be here and to be allowed to represent my country. I’m looking forward to helping the team qualify for the World Cup,” he concluded.
After the international outing, Sebelebele's Pirates will be up against Stellenbosch in the Premier Soccer League assignment on Saturday, September 13.
