Orlando Pirates captain Nkosinathi Sibisi remains confident that his team will secure the win they need and claim the PSL title.
Pirates must beat Orbit College in the season finale on Saturday to end their 14-year title drought but it will not be easy as their opponents also need victory to secure their league survival or a draw to seal a playoff spot.
Abdeslam Ouaddou’s team missed a great opportunity when they drew 0-0 with Durban City last weekend, a day that a win would have completed the job, but Sibisi believes they will not fumble against Orbit College.

“We’re still within our objective. We shouldn’t doubt, there’s no reason to doubt,” he said on OP TV as per iDiski Times.
“I think the performance [against Durban City] showed that we wanted to win, unfortunately it was not enough for us. But you know, we go back, we keep on working.”
Playing their final match away and in a must win situation, Pirates will be under massive pressure but their captain is unfazed.

“We have final game against Orbit. There’s no reason not to believe,” Sibisi further stated. “We would’ve loved to end the season at home with three points. As I said, unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. We tried.
“It’s not through the lack of trying. The boys kept fighting until the very last whistle. So unfortunate for us, but we take the point and we move.”
Pirates, who last won the league in 2012, head into the final game second on the table with 66 points, two behind Mamelodi Sundowns, who have already completed their PSL season, and anything other than a victory would hand the Brazilians a ninth straight title.
