Stars missing as Chiefs reveal arsenal to tackle Kabuscorp in CAF Confederation Cup

Kaizer Chiefs are set for CAF Confederation Cup game against Kabuscorp SCP on Saturday at the November 11 Stadium in Talatona.

The Glamour Boys come into the match fresh from their recent 3-1 Premier Soccer League loss against table toppers Sekhukhune United on Wednesday. Furthermore, the Soweto giants are currently without a coach following the exit of coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Amakhosi have come into the match hoping to get a positive result away from home to stand a chance of making the second preliminary round of the biennial CAF inter-club competition.

A positive outcome this weekend will ease pressure on the technical team as well as the players and the management.

Who has made the Amakhosi squad?

As expected, former Orlando Pirates right-back Thabiso Monyane misses out following a recent injury. Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Etiosa Ighodaro, Luke Baartman, and Asanele Velebayi are the other players who are yet to make their debut for the club, and certainly, it will not be this weekend.

New arrival Khanyisa Mayo is also out; old boys Dillan Solomons and Tashreeq Morris have not made the travelling party.

Chiefs squad:

Goalkeepers: Brandon Petersen, Bruce Bvuma, Fiacre Ntwari.

Defenders: Zitha Kwinika, Aden McCarthy, Inacio Miguel, Reeve Frosler, Bradley Cross, Paseka Mako.

Midfielders: George Matlou, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Thabo Cele, Mfundo Vilakazi, Mduduzi Shabalala, Gaston Sirino.

Forwards: Glody Lilepo, Pule Mmodi, Ashley du Preez, Flavio Da Silva, Wandile Duba.
