Mamelodi Sundowns have taken over the top spot in the DDC league standings after a 2-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs.
Onele Rulwana and Kutlwano Letlhaku scored for Sundowns, who now have 38 points from 17 games.
Chiefs, who were third before the match, remain fourth with 36 points from 16 games, but could reclaim first place with a win in their game in hand.
Orlando Pirates also enjoyed a 2-0 win, defeating Chippa United away at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium. Goals from Siphamandla Msezana and Moses Mphekgoane secured the win for the Buccaneers, who now sit seventh with 28 points from 17 matches.
Elsewhere, defending champions Stellenbosch FC extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-0 victory over Golden Arrows at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

They are now level on points with Sundowns at 38, also from 17 games, as they look to retain their title. In other DDC action, Marumo Gallants recorded their first win of the season, beating Magesi FC 3-2 at home.
TS Galaxy's struggles continued with a 2-1 loss to AmaZulu FC, their fourth defeat in five matches. On Sunday, Cape Town City beat Richards Bay FC 3-2, and Sekhukhune United defeated Polokwane City 2-0.
