‘There’s nothing!’ Agent claims Nigerian striker has NOT signed for Chiefs – ‘It’s photoshop!’

Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for new players to continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.

So far, the Glamour Boys have signed Flavio Silva (Persebaya Surabaya, Indonesia), Ethan Chislett (Port Vale, England), Nkanyiso Shinga (FC Alverce, Portugal), Paseka Mako (Orlando Pirates), Thabiso Monyane (Orlando Pirates), and Siphesihle Ndlovu (SuperSport United).

The Club’s Marketing and Commercial Director, Jessica Motaung, has promised even more new players before the transfer window closes.

“Very exciting, ready for combat, and certainly looking to sign even more with the window open until September. Supporters can watch this space and know we have more players we will be signing certainly,” she told SABC.

Ighodaro, the next Kaizer Chiefs signing?

Etiosa Ighodaro was recently captured in Kaizer Chiefs' outfit, probably preparing for his unveiling after his exit from AmaZulu. As Afrik-Foot recently reported, there are some administrative issues between Amakhosi and Mamelodi Sundowns.

His agent, Mohammed Lawal, now claims the 24-year-old is not in the country and that the trending picture is not factual.

“I saw the photo on social media. It's a photoshop. There is nothing,” he said in his recent interview with Kick Off.

“He is currently away. He is coming back to the country on Tuesday. For now, I can't talk about his future in football. If there is something, I will let you know,” he concluded.

Ighodaro played a crucial role in helping his team finish inside the top half of the Premier Soccer League table. He has initially played for the University of Pretoria, SuperSport United, and Chippa United.
