‘Tinkler is bitter because Pirates terminated his contract! Broos can’t make everyone happy’

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos recently named his best squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco from December 21 to January 18.

However, some are unhappy with those who were included in the team; like Sekhukhune United coach Eric Tinkler. The tactician feels the squad will struggle in Group B that is made up of Egypt, Angola and Zimbabwe.

Broos can’t satisfy everybody

If you compare the last AFCON squad to this current squad, there’s a huge gap. This one has more quality –  Abenathi Gumede

There is no squad currently topping this one, except that AFCON winning squad, yes, it would have been nice to include some names, but this squad is more than capable – Lungelo Machopha Engachophile

Eric Tinkler is bitter because of how Orlando Pirates terminated his contract. When Bafana Bafana was dominated by Mamelodi Sundowns players during the previous AFCON, he didn’t say anything and was also responsible for the downfall of Cape Town City – Tsietsi Mbuso 

Hugo Broos has never gone wrong with his squad selection. People might talk this and that, but I trust the old man – Rodrick Manda
