TS Galaxy coach makes bold statement about Chiefs supporters

TS Galaxy Coach Adnan Beganovic had high praise for the dedicated Kaizer Chiefs supporters.

Beganovic shared that he was immediately struck by the passion of the Chiefs fans upon his arrival in South Africa, where he initially came to work alongside Sead Ramovic.

The Rockets coach recalled his first encounter with Amakhosi, saying he watched the game from the stands, allowing him to observe the atmosphere closely.

He admitted his surprise at seeing more Chiefs supporters than their own, even though his team was the home side.

However, he added that he later understood this after learning more about Chiefs' history and significance.

WHAT SURPRISED BEGANOVIC ABOUT KAIZER CHIEFS FANS

“Chiefs have the best supporters,” he said on Radio 2000 as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

“I was lucky to see my first game at the Mbombela Stadium against Chiefs. When I came, I had to sit on the stands because I didn't have the papers to be on the bench. Then I saw that there were around 40 000 people, at least 35 000 supported Chiefs.

“I thought, ‘What is wrong? Who is this team? How is this possible, we're playing at home… I couldn't figure it out.

“Then, I started reading up about Chiefs, the club's history, it's a big club. One of the biggest clubs, not only in South Africa but in Africa. I like the club.”
