Former Orlando Pirates winger Mohau Nkota made his competitive debut at Al-Ettifaq with a goal in the club's 2-1 win over Al Kholood in the Saudi Pro League fixture staged at the EGO Stadium on Thursday.
The 20-year-old made a surprise move to the Middle East a couple of weeks ago after a successful debut for the Buccaneers in the 2024/25 edition under the then-coach Jose Riveiro who is now at the helm of Al Ahly.
The Bafana Bafana international opened the scoring in the seventh minute when he found the back of the net from the edge of the 18-yard area.

However, Al Kholood responded in the 35th minute courtesy of John Buckley before former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum struck the winning goal to ensure Nkota's debut ended with a win.
The versatile attacker played the entire game, showing glimpses of brilliance despite not getting another goal.
