‘Well done Nkota but Mofokeng is MVP! Careless Sesane, disgusting Tito’s attitude’

Moahu Nkota and Relebohile Mofokeng played a starring role as Orlando Pirates defeated AmaZulu 2-1 at Orlando Stadium on Friday night to go top of the Premier Soccer League table.

Nkota scored a brace from Mofokeng's two assists in a game the Soweto Giants dominated for a larger part.

The 19-year-old Nkota won the Man of the Match Award but others feel Mofokeng deserved it. However, Thabiso Sesane has been reprimanded after another costly mistake from which Usuthu scored while Patrick Maswanganyi's attitude has been questioned.

Have a look at what the fans said.

Well done Nkota but Mofokeng is my MVP!

We don't talk about how Nkota avoided all the players and quickly ran to hug the coach, to thank him for the opportunity He gave him. I see him growing only if he's disciplined – Nonhlanhla Dube

The future looks bright for us. I was really impressed with his combinations with Relebohile Mofokeng. They are going to be a force in the future – Motshedi Joel Tsheola

Nkota needs to work on his finishing. He's indeed a good young man but Mofokeg is my man of the match. What a great talent! – Lungani Cebo Miya

Well done to Nkota but I believe we should have won this game with more than two goals if Nkota wasn't a little bit selfish. Sometimes he should assist, you can't force a hattrick – Ze Ve Ge

I understand Nkota, you wanted a hat trick but sometimes there are other players in a better scoring position. Rele released the ball to you many times but you didn’t do the same for him – Sentle Adebisi Bester

We shouldn't have conceded that goal, careless play from Thabiso Sesane. Please bench Ndlondo and Gilberto for the entire season. Nonetheless, we take the win and shift our focus to our game on Tuesday – Banele Jay Nodipha

I love Patrick Maswanganyi and every Pirates fan loves him. But he must stop his disgusting attitude. Unnecessary yellow card. His character is questionable – Thabiso Honest

Sesane needs to minimize his mistakes, or else he will cost us big time – Mandisi Nqobani Mbambo

We were supposed to have at least 5 goals in this match but we almost played a draw within the last minutes –  Lholly Chibi

Richard Ofori was superb, he denied Pirates so many times. It could have been 5-0 – Sneh Dlamin
