‘What if Pirates are Arsenal? Sundowns & Chiefs will find Bucs on top of table when they return home’

Orlando Pirates play Durban City on Saturday in the Premier Soccer League aware that maximum points will open a gap between them and the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Both teams are currently on 25 points but Masandawana, who have played a game more, have a superior goal difference which puts them at the helm. Both the Brazilians and Kaizer Chiefs will be playing CAF Inter-Club competitions this weekend.

These are the toughts of the fans collected by Afrik-Foot ahead of the fixture.

As soon as ref starts game Bucs will be at the top

As a Pirates die-hard fan, I love seeing Chiefs fans in pain. It’s my daily medicine, my weekly energy, my monthly inspiration, and my yearly motivation. Their pain is the only reason I’m still alive. I was born to love and enjoy the pain they feel every time Orlando Pirates win – Andy Andile

Mamelodi Sundowns will find us on top of the Premier Soccer League table when they return home – Bongani Ncapayi

If we win this game we will be more dangerous than electricity. But what if Orlando Pirates are Arsenal? – Johny Junior

Let’s go and collect three points, Buccaneers, whilst Mukoko’s friends are still busy chasing for a star in the wrong place, ‘Baby CAF’ – Nonhlanhla Mashaba

As soon as the referee starts the game against Durban City, we will be one point clear – Claudius Kwayi

Give Sebelebele a chance

What Kaizer Chiefs will lift this year is Motaung’s Birthday cake! Durban City must just email us the three points – Matshediso

Can we go all out and fill up the Moses Mabhida Stadium as we did with the Golden Arrows game? Mukoko fans will be in Polokwane getting moored by Zamalek – Lethabo Thibos Thoka

Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou must also give Kobamelo Sebelebele a chance; that guy can literally do everything. He can defend well, too – Portia Mahlangu

So there’s a team called Durban City in the League. I thought it was another Cup game with those teams from lower divisions – Malungisa Seyama

Another three points in the bag. But we gotta be careful with these, sneaky as hell – Junior Cunninghamm Mgede
