The upcoming Nedbank Cup quarterfinal draw is highly anticipated, with football enthusiasts keen to learn the Last eight pairings.

Six teams have already secured their places in the next stage following a week of thrilling Nedbank Cup action.

SuperSport United were the first to book their quarterfinal berth, overcoming Cape Town Spurs 2-1 in a closely contested match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Tshwane on Wednesday.

Stellenbosch FC swiftly followed, securing their spot on Thursday with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Polokwane City at the Danie Craven Stadium.

Friday night delivered a major upset as second-tier side Durban City stunned the in-form TS Galaxy, eliminating them at the Chatsworth Stadium.

Saturday saw Orlando Pirates continue their quest to defend their Ke Yona title. The Buccaneers, aiming for a third consecutive Nedbank Cup triumph, defeated Baroka FC 3-1.

Later on Saturday, Kaizer Chiefs also advanced to the quarterfinals with a dominant 3-0 win over Chippa United. Amakhosi are hoping to end their decade-long trophy drought and lift the Nedbank Cup for the first time since 2015, when they won it under Stuart Baxter.

Marumo Gallants completed the quarterfinal lineup of qualified teams with a narrow 1-0 victory over KwaZulu-Natal's AmaZulu FC in a match played at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium.

The Milford FC vs Sekhukhune United fixture was postponed due to Thwihli Thwahla’s ongoing challenges.

The last match of the Last 16 stage will see Mamelodi Sundowns welcome Mpheni Home Defenders on Sunday at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 15:00.
