“Inter Milan have shown great promise, I think the way they played against Manchester City, not many teams come to the Etihad [and play like that]. Not even Real Madrid could do to them what Inter has done,” the former Manchester United Strikers' coach said in his analysis on SuperSport TV.

“Inter showed that they have a team that can [win the UCL], but do they have the metal to go all the way, I don’t know.”

Manchester City to take it from Real Madrid?

Benni further explained why the Spanish heavyweights can't be ruled out, “Real Madrid [are] Real Madrid,” he added.

“They play the most average football but they’ve got the players to do it every game and they’ve got the mentality, they’ve got the mindset, Champions League is built for them.

“They will definitely be there, they will be the favourites now that they’ve added [Kylian] Mbappe. Once the combinations between all those players come together, and I think Mbappe. So Madrid, Inter, and Man City, are definitely the favourites.”
