Will Mbule ever return to Sundowns? Mngqithi verdict

Published on by

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach has broken silence on the Sipho Mbule’s loan move to Sekhukhune United, revealing the midfielder’s chances to come back at the club.

The 26-year-old joined Babina Noko on the last day of the PSL transfer window on a season long-loan switch.

He joined a number of Sundowns players who have been loaned out for this season.

Mngqithi feels the move will help Mbule get back to his normal self particularly if he gets the chance to play under the guidance of Lehlohonolo Seema.

The Sundowns coach is also confident that Mbule will do well to the extent that Sundowns decide to bring him back.

He believes that the former SuperSport United man will still be of help to the club in future.

MNGQITHI BREAKS SILENCE ON SIPHO MBULE MOVE TO SEKHUKHUNE

“Sipho Mbule’s departure…I think it’s good for the boy because I like him a lot,” said Mngqithi.

“I believe he’s got so much that he can give us. I think it will be good for him to taste another environment.

“He still has a chance to come back to the club and help us because we were struggling with a lot of things in terms of his physical condition because of when you’re not playing regularly, you’re always bound to gain weight and have this issue and that issue.

“Then you’re given a chance, you get injured because your physical condition maybe you’re not getting as many games as you would have loved.

“But I still see him coming back to Sundowns and claiming a place in this team.

“I think it (loan) will help him, if he could manage to play regularly for Sekhukhune. I think we will benefit as a club.

“He will also benefit because I believe he can help us towards the end maybe going even further in his career because he is a very good football player.”
