Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was pictured with NFL star Rome Odunze after Atlético Madrid’s 4–2 La Liga win over RCD Espanyol at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium, Afrik Foot reports.

The image, shared on social media, showed the two athletes exchanging greetings in the stadium tunnel after full-time.

Lookman, who recently joined Atlético Madrid from Atalanta, continued his bright start in Spain by scoring a second-half header in the win.

The strike marked his first La Liga goal for the club and added to his early contributions since arriving in January.

Odunze, a wide receiver with the Chicago Bears, was among the spectators at the match and was seen wearing Atlético colours before meeting Lookman post-match.

Both players, who share Nigerian heritage, posed for photos that quickly attracted attention online.

Many praised the meeting as a crossover moment between Nigerian talents in football and American football.

The meeting comes during a positive run for Lookman, whose performances have added pace and goal threat to Diego Simeone’s side as they push for strong finishes in both La Liga and Europe this season.
