Lookman started the match but could not find the net, as his goal drought continued.

Despite dominating possession and creating more chances, it was Lecce who struck first.
After a VAR review, the visitors were awarded a penalty, and Jesper Karlsson made no mistake from the spot to give Lecce the lead in the 29th minute.

The first half ended with Lecce ahead.

Atalanta pushed harder in the second half and finally found a breakthrough, also from the penalty spot.
Mateo Retegui calmly converted to level the score at 1-1 in the 69th minute.

Atalanta continued to press but failed to find a winner, settling for a point in a night that will feel like two points dropped.

Lookman's output against Lecce in numbers

Ademola Lookman started and played the full 90 minutes for Atalanta but could not get on the scoresheet.

The Nigerian forward had one shot on target and another off target, completing one of his three dribble attempts.

Lookman created three key passes during the game, but only two of his five crosses found a teammate.

The 27-year-old completed 40 of his 48 passes, finishing with an 83 percent pass accuracy.

In duels, Lookman won just one of the six ground battles he contested. However, he had better success in the air, winning two out of three aerial duels.
