Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi shares a deep and enduring bond with his father, Chuka, who has been an ever-present figure in his life and career.
From his early days with the Nigeria national team to his current role at Fulham, the midfielder's father has been a steadfast source of support and encouragement.
This unwavering support continued throughout Iwobi's time at Arsenal and Everton, with Chuka being a familiar face at his matches, always ready to offer guidance and cheer him on.

Now 28 years old and playing for Fulham, the Super Eagles star reveals that his father's enthusiasm and pride remain as strong as ever.
Iwobi's fascinating relationship with his father
In a recent interview with Fulham TV, Iwobi shared some heartwarming insights into their relationship, highlighting his father's unyielding support.
“You should see my Dad in the house; he is always wearing a training kit, ready to go,” he said, illustrating his father's enthusiasm.
“But sometimes it is embarrassing because if we are going to Sainsbury's, and he’s with me, he’s wearing a big Iwobi top, and I am like, ‘Dad, chill,' but he's just proud.”

Reflecting on their conversations about his performances, Iwobi said, “He does not go into detail.
“He knows football because he used to play in Nigeria, and my Uncle (Nigeria legend Jay-Jay Okocha) used to play, so he understands football.
“But nowadays, it is just like, ‘Well done.' Sometimes he will say, ‘Why didn’t you shoot at this time?' but that’s just being a Dad.”
Iwobi's outstanding form this season has been instrumental in Fulham's success. With seven goals and three assists, he has established himself as one of the team's key players.
