Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and other top European clubs are set to battle for the signature of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, Afrik Foot reports.
The Super Eagles attacker remains one of the most sought-after strikers in world football, with several European giants reportedly monitoring the Nigerian forward’s situation ahead of the next transfer window.
According to reports from Footmercato journalist Sebastien Denis, the FC Bayern Munich hierarchy have placed the Galatasaray striker on their shortlist as the German champions begin planning for life after Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich planning for post-Kane era
Bayern are said to be assessing potential long-term options to lead their attack once Kane’s cycle at the club comes to an end, and Osimhen’s profile has reportedly received internal approval from head coach Vincent Kompany.
The Nigerian international has established himself as one of Europe’s most lethal centre-forwards in recent years, attracting admiration from several top clubs across the continent.

However, while Bayern’s interest appears genuine, the striker’s financial demands and transfer valuation could play a significant role in determining whether a move becomes realistic.
PSG stance and interest from other clubs
French champions Paris Saint‑Germain have also been linked with the 27-year-old in recent months, but reports suggest the Ligue 1 giants are currently not pushing forward with a deal.
Sources indicate that PSG’s hesitation stems from concerns over Osimhen’s salary expectations and the sizeable transfer fee required, while manager Luis Enrique is reportedly not fully convinced about pursuing the Nigerian striker at this stage.

Elsewhere, clubs such as Manchester United, Juventus FC and Atlético Madrid have been mentioned among the European sides monitoring the situation, although none of them have made concrete moves for the forward.
Saudi clubs still interested
Outside Europe, clubs in the Saudi Pro League remain keen on securing Osimhen’s signature.
Despite the financial power of Saudi teams, a move to the Middle East is currently not considered a priority for the Nigerian international, who is believed to prefer continuing his career at the highest level in Turkey or European football.
