This summer could mark the end of a remarkable chapter for two Super Falcons stars — captain Rasheedat Ajibade and first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie — as both players are reportedly set for new career moves.
After spending about five years at their respective clubs, the pair appear ready for a fresh challenge.
Ajibade joined Atlético Madrid Femenino from Avaldsnes in the 2020/21 season, initially signing a two-year deal before extending her contract until 2025.

Rasheedat Ajibade to leave Atlético Madrid?
Now 25, she has become one of the standout performers in Liga F. This season alone, she has scored six goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances.
Her current deal expires at the end of the season, and all signs point to a move away from Spain.

Reports suggest the Nigerian forward is heading to the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the United States, a league that is quickly attracting Nigerian talent.
If she eventually makes the move, she will join compatriots like Asisat Oshoala (Bay FC), Michelle Alozie (Houston Dash), Uchenna Kanu (Racing Louisville), Gift Monday, Deborah Abiodun (on loan), and the duo of Chiamaka Okwuchukwu and Favour Emmanuel.
Super Falcons no.1 Chiamaka Nnadozie set for the WSL
Chiamaka Nnadozie has been one of the top goalkeepers in France’s D1 Arkema for the past few seasons.
The 24-year-old was named the best goalkeeper in the league last season and is again nominated for the award after another impressive campaign.
She has kept 11 clean sheets in 18 league matches, which is the second-best record in the division.
After five solid years at Paris FC, Nnadozie is reportedly set to join English side Everton in the Women’s Super League, having already signed a pre-contract agreement.
If the move materialises, she will link up with fellow Super Falcons star Toni Payne, who currently plays for the Merseyside club.
For both players, if the transfers are completed, Ajibade and Nnadozie will be entering the next phase of their careers after long, successful spells in Spain and France.
