Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika bagged his first goal of the season as Club Brugge cruised to a dominant 7-0 victory over St. Truiden in the Jupiler Pro League on Saturday.

The 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder scored Brugge’s fifth goal in the 51st minute, capitalizing on an assist from Chemsdine Talbi.

This emphatic win marked a perfect outing for Brugge, with Greek striker Christos Tzolis stealing the show with a first-half hat trick, netting in the 12th, 22nd, and 42nd minutes.

Tzolis added a fourth just two minutes into the second half to extend Brugge’s dominance.

Onyedika, who started the match, controlled the midfield with composure and precision.

He created chances for his teammates but could have had more assists if the forwards converted his excellent passes.

After Onyedika’s goal, Ardon Jashari made it six before Hans Vanaken rounded off the scoring to complete the rout.
