Marco Silva’s Fulham returned to winning ways after three games without one as they sealed three points against Burnley at Craven Cottage, Afrik Foot reports.
The Cottagers had lost to West Ham United and Southampton in the FA Cup, while playing a goalless draw against a below-par Nottingham Forest side last weekend.
Fulham needed three points in pursuit of their goal for a place in European competition next season, and they got them.

Fulham vs Burnley: How the game unfolded
The first half got off to a slow start, with Fulham warming up to play, although their passes weren’t connecting in the final third.
Harry Wilson had the game’s first clear-cut chance in the 20th minute. The Welshman’s shot, well-drilled from long range, caught the outside of the crossbar.
Two minutes later, Fulham were the ones caught out, bailed by Bernd Leno. Quilindschy Hartman’s cross was headed down by Zian Flemming, but the German goalkeeper was equal to the task.

Burnley broke the deadlock on the hour mark, Flemming getting the better of Leno this time, after tapping home from Lyle Foster’s cross.
Seven minutes later, Josh King made history by scoring his first-ever Premier League goal for Fulham. Berger’s cross was misplaced by Martin Dubravka, and King arrived just in time to tap the ball home.

Six minutes later, Harry Wilson completed the comeback for Marco Silva’s side. The former Liverpool winger has been in good form this season and scored his ninth goal just beyond Dubravka at the near post.

Samuel Chukwueze came close to scoring the game’s third after Alex Iwobi’s deflected shot fell to him. The Milan loanee’s attempt went just wide.
The Nigerian would eventually make an impact when his pass into Raul Jimenez saw the attacker fouled inside the box.
The Mexican put the ball into the top corner to send Fulham back into the top half of the English Premier League table.
The Cottagers are now 8th in the English top-flight, five points away from the top five.
