Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu, has opened up on the conversation he had with Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta over the possibility of Victor Osimhen joining the Gunners, Afrik Foot reports.
Berta was in attendance for the explosive Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, where Osimhen scored in a commanding 3–0 victory.
It is believed that the Italian held preliminary discussions with Galatasaray officials about a potential transfer for Victor Osimhen, along with other CimBom players.

Galatasaray chief stuns Andrea Berta, names Osimhen fee
Kavukcu, in an interview with HT Spor, publicly aired some of the conversations with Andrea Berta, revealing the 54-year-old was surprised by how the club handles their finances.
“Arsenal sports director came, and he was even surprised at how much we paid for our players,” the 53-year-old said in quotes revealed by Haber Sarikir Mizi.
“Their budget [Arsenal] is 800 million Euros. We will also have a budget of 500 million euros this year.

Quizzed about the possibility of Osimhen leaving RAMS Park this summer, Kavukcu revealed that the final decision lies with Galatasaray’s president, Dursun Özbek.
“We dreamed, we made the dreams come true. No one in the world believed we could get Osimhen, not people from Turkey.
“There was a 90 million Euro offer from the other club. “I will not go even if they offer 100 million Euros; I will come to Galatasaray.” How did we do that? We’re the only ones who didn’t.
“Our fans, the love here has succeeded. And our part was to find that source with my president, we did it. We paid those resources today.

“As Abdullah Kavukcu, I won’t sell Osimhen for 150 million Euros, but it’s an event that our president will decide.
“When you sell him, you need to find the player you’re going to replace him. It’s very important,” the Galatasaray Vice President concluded.
