Hull City will battle against Middlesbrough in the EFL Championship play-offs final at Wemble Stadium, Afrik Foot reports.
The Tigers defeated Millwall with an aggregate 2-0 score across two legs, while Middlesbrough qualified most dramatically.
Boro were defeated in the semi-final by Southampton, but reported seeing a Southampton analyst near Middlesbrough’s training ground, spying on their team preparations.
The EFL investigated, and Southampton confessed to being guilty of the charges. As such, Middlesbrough were sent to the final, while the Saints were disqualified and docked four points ahead of the 2026/2027 Championship campaign.
