Super Eagles duo Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey featured as Fulham narrowly lost 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
Both Nigerian internationals started the match, with Iwobi playing 89 minutes before being substituted, while Bassey completed the full game.

Fulham made a bright start and were rewarded in the 35th minute when Iwobi's cross set up Raul Jimenez, who scored to put the visitors ahead.
The goal was Jimenez’s first for Fulham since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Stunned by the setback, Brighton pushed forward in search of an equaliser and found it four minutes before halftime when Jan Paul van Hecke beat Bernd Leno with a well-placed header.

Despite his assist to Jimenez, Iwobi, who started the game and lasted 89 minutes will be gutted not to get something out of the game.
He had 58 touches on the ball and made 31 out of the 41 passes he attempted for a success rate of 76%.
Iwobi had a shot blocked but made one key pass in the game while succeding in two of the four dribbling attempts he made.

For duels, he lost the two aerial balls he contested while for ground duels, he won three out of the six he made.
For Calvin Bassey, he started the game and lasted the entire duration while making a total of two tackles, a clearance and a blocked shot.
For passes, he was accurate in 42 of the 45 passes for a 96% success rate with 55 touches of the ball.
He did put in a decent shift for duel winning all of his aerial duels (3) and for ground duels, he went for four out of eight.
