Lazio and Montenegro right-back, Adam Marusic, has revealed that the Italian side are looking to play to the strengths of Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Afrik Foot reports.
Since joining Maurizio Sarri’s side in 2024, Dele-Bashiru has struggled to nail down a specific starting role under Maurizio Sarri.
Maurizio Sarri has tried the Nigerian across several positions, but after the AFCON 2025 tournament, it appears the 25-year-old has now become a regular, playing six straight games for the Eagles since returning from Morocco.

Despite Lazio’s 0-2 loss to Atalanta, Adam Marusic was pleased with Dele-Bashiru’s display, lauding the midfielder’s strengths and energy on the pitch.
“Dele-Bashiru? We know his characteristics; he is fast, and he is good at looking for depth, like in the game against Bologna.
“For him, it’s easy to make this movement forward, surely we’re trying it in training and in the game,” the 33-year-old Montenegro full-back said in quotes revealed by Laziosiamonoi.
