Olympique Marseille head coach Habib Beye has labelled Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi an ‘interesting player’ following his debut last night, Afrik Foot reports.
The 22-year-old joined the one-time UEFA Champions League from Zulte Waregem during the winter transfer window after the AFCON 2025 tournament.
He didn’t make an appearance in his first month as the Velodrome, but new coach Habib Beye threw him into the mix last night in their win over Lyon, although for just a minute

Marseille coach Beye gives Nnadi verdict
Following the Nigerian’s first appearance, coach Beye revealed that Nnadi had been working tremendously hard in training.
”He’s a very interesting player because he brings a lot of physical impact and is very quick,” the former Senegal right-back said in quotes revealed by Tribal Football.

“He is a mobile player who can cover a lot of ground and is highly impactful.
”Nnadi is surprising because, despite the intensity of his play, he maintains excellent control of the ball and can provide the composure we need in the centre of the pitch.
”When I arrived, I spoke with him and explained that I only had 24 hours to make my decisions for the Brest match. But this week of training—like for all the players—has been of very high quality,” the Marseille coach concluded.
