Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was in action for Leicester City as they lost 1-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
It was yet another defeat for Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side, as their struggles continue this season.

With just 17 points and sitting second from bottom, the Foxes desperately needed a result in London—but it all came to naught.
Ndidi started the game for Leicester City and was among the better performers on the pitch, but Chelsea dominated the proceedings.
The home side had an opportunity to take the lead as early as the 22nd minute when Cole Palmer, responsible for the free kick, missed his chance to score.
The first half ended goalless, but Chelsea carried their momentum into the second half.
Their persistence was rewarded in the 60th minute when Spanish defender Marc Cucurella capitalized on an assist from Enzo Fernández to score the decisive goal.
Despite further Chelsea attacks and Leicester’s sporadic offensive forays in search of an equalizer, the home side maintained control and secured the three points.
Wilfred Ndidi's standout performance vs Chelsea
Wilfred Ndidi delivered a strong individual performance for Leicester City in their 1-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Ndidi had 72 touches of the ball, dictating play from midfield and contributing significantly on both ends of the pitch.

He completed 40 of his 50 attempted passes, achieving an 80% pass accuracy.
Defensively, the 28-year-old was a dominant presence, registering a game-high six tackles and making five crucial clearances to help limit Chelsea’s attacking threat.
In aerial battles, Ndidi was flawless, winning all three of his aerial duels.
On the ground, he proved just as effective, winning nine out of 12 duels, further underlining his combative presence in midfield.
