Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City suffered another setback on Wednesday, falling to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in their latest Premier League encounter.
Jack Grealish and Omar Marmoush found the net for Pep Guardiola's side, compounding the woes of Ruud van Nistelrooy’s struggling Leicester City, whose hopes of Premier League survival continue to fade with each passing matchday.
Ndidi and his teammates entered the match on the back of seven consecutive defeats across all competitions, with their only recent triumph being a surprising 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on January 26.

Currently languishing in 19th place on the 20-team table with just 17 points from 30 games, the Foxes face an uphill battle for survival, requiring nothing short of a monumental turnaround to avoid relegation.
Ndidi battles hard but Leicester City falter again
Despite Leicester City's struggles, Wilfred Ndidi delivered a commendable individual performance at the Etihad.
The Super Eagles midfielder recorded 47 touches, completed 24 of his 28 passes with an 86% accuracy rate, and provided one key pass.
Defensively, he was heavily involved, winning five of his eight ground duels, making four clearances, blocking two shots, and registering one interception along with four tackles.
However, his efforts were not enough to prevent another defeat, as the Foxes’ relegation fears deepened with yet another setback.

Ndidi has featured in 22 matches for the Foxes across all competitions this season, contributing one goal and four assists while maintaining an impressive average of 80 minutes per game.
