Victor Osimhen Update

Transfers expert Fabrizio Romano spoke about Victor Osimhen’s transfer issue yesterday, and he confirmed that the Nigerian indeed had offers during the summer transfer window.

He confirmed that Al Hilal tried to sign the Super Eagles star from Galatasaray. But both the player and the club were no interested in making the move.

Nigerian Star Leaves Hull City

On Wednesday, English Premier League club Hull City confirmed that David Akintola was leaving after both parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

The 30-year-old attacker joined as a free agent last season and played an important role in the club’s promotion for the Premier League, contributing one goal and two assists in 20 appearances.

Now, the 30-year-old is joining Cypriot giants Omonia. He will be hoping to make a mark during his time at the club.

With Akintola’s exit, the only Nigerian player that is remaining in Hull City’s first team is Semi Ajayi.
