Published on by , updated on

There has been a slight readjustment to the fixture dates that was released on Friday after a review of protests laid by some clubs in the NPFL.

The Nigeria Premier Football League on Friday had earlier announced changes to fixtures for Matchday 30 of the NPFL as the league gets into the final stretch.

Three games were scheduled for this Saturday while the remaining games wee to be played on Sunday.

However, the NPFL board have now made know new dates for the matches

The Nigeria Premier Football League has only nine games left and the battle for the title and survival has already begun.

At the top of the league is Enugu side Rangers who are on 51 points, same as Lobi Stars but they have a better goal difference (+14) as against (+8) for Lobi Stars.

Just behind them are Remo Stars (48), Enyimba (47) and Plateau United with 46 points after 29 games.

At the basement is Gombe United who are shoe-in for the drop with a misely 22 points as Heartland have 26 followed by Akwa United who have shocked many with their results this season with 31 points and Rivers United who are also on 31 points gut have six games at hand due to their involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup.

With the unpredictability of the NPFL, it will be difficult to declare who will be champions. I reckon it will get to the final day.
