Bayelsa United 3-0 Remo Stars (25 May)

Champions Remo Stars fell to a 3-0 defeat against Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia Sports Stadium. Rabiu Abdullahi netted a brace, while Yahaya Ibrahim sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal, ensuring Bayelsa United ended their season on a high — finishing 11th on the table with 52 points.

El-Kanemi Warriors 1-0 Sunshine Stars ( 25 May)

El-Kanemi Warriors secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Sunshine Stars at the El-Kanemi Stadium, with a dramatic goal scored in the 90+24th minute to steer clear of relegation.

This vital win saw El-Kanemi Warriors finish the season in 16th place with 49 points, just one point behind relegated Heartland FC.

Enyimba 0-1 Plateau United (25 May)

Yusuf Abdullahi’s 40th-minute strike secured a crucial away victory for Plateau United over nine-time NPFL champions Enyimba at the Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday.

The win marked Plateau United’s second successive triumph, following their Matchday 37 victory over Lobi Stars. In contrast, it was back-to-back defeats for Enyimba, who had previously fallen to Nasarawa United.

Enyimba concluded the season in sixth place, while Plateau United finished just behind in seventh, both sides ending the campaign with 54 points.

Heartland FC 2-1 Kwara United (25 May)

At the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Heartland FC ended their campaign on a positive note with a 2-1 win over already relegated Kwara United.

Isaac Nassy and Daniel Victor Ekpo put the hosts ahead before Chisom Orji grabbed a late consolation for the visitors in the 83rd minute. Despite the victory, Heartland FC were unable to avoid the drop and are among the four clubs relegated this season.

Ikorodu City 3-2 Abia Warriors (25 May)

Ikorodu City edged Abia Warriors 3-2 in a thrilling contest at the Onikan Stadium on Sunday to close out their campaign on a high.

Ayomide Cole, Tosin, and Mohammed Malik found the net for the Oga Boys, while Sunday Megwo and Paul Alo Sampson responded for the visitors. The result saw Ikorodu City finish fourth on the table with 59 points, just one point behind Abia Warriors, who secured third place with 60 points.

Katsina United 1-0 Kwara United (25 May)

Mubarak Said’s 34th-minute strike proved decisive as Katsina United secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Kwara United at the Young Katsina Stars Park. Despite the win, Katsina United finished the season in 15th place, level on points with Kwara United, who edged them into 14th courtesy of a superior goal difference.

Lobi Stars 2-1 Bendel Insurance (25 May)

With their relegation already confirmed weeks earlier and a winless run stretching across several matches, Lobi Stars bowed out of the top flight on a positive note with a 2-1 victory over Bendel Insurance. The hosts signed off with pride, while Uche Collins netted a consolation goal for the visitors.

Niger Tornadoes 3-2 Kano Pillars (25 May)

At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Sunday, Niger Tornadoes edged past Kano Pillars with a narrow 3-2 victory. Goals from Joseph Godstime, Ismael Ishak Saraki, and Kufre Eyo Ebong sealed the win for the hosts, while veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali and Naziru Auwalu were on target for the visitors.

Rivers United 2-1 Nasarawa United (25 May)

Rivers United wrapped up their season with a 2-1 victory over Nasarawa United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, thanks to goals from Muyiwa Adeola Fehintola and Aniekeme Okon.

Shina Kumater netted a consolation for the visitors. The result secured a second-place finish for Rivers United with 64 points — seven behind champions Remo Stars — while Nasarawa United ended the campaign in 12th place with 52 points.

Shooting Stars 5-1 Enugu Rangers (25 May)

Defending champions Enugu Rangers ended their campaign on a disappointing note as they were thrashed 5-1 by Shooting Stars in their final fixture.

Sadiq Ibrahim bagged a brace, while Gbolagade Adelowo, Otahako Alexander Aghahowa, and Joshua Akpan also got on the scoresheet for the dominant hosts. Bashir Usman netted a consolation for the visitors.

The heavy defeat consigned Rangers to a 10th-place finish with 52 points, while Shooting Stars secured 8th place with 54 points.
